This is our dog... he's an extremely fluffy Pomeranian, which is rare! He has tons of fluff, though. We think that he might have been a show-quality Pom save for the fact that his tail was broken (and I mean bad... it folds over itself) and he's bigger than he should be. Otherwise he's really beautiful for a Pom. And he looks especially nice in this photo!
Btw, this was not retouched... I caught him laying in the sun just like that.
We tried a shock collar, but my parents insist that "It doesn't work through his thick fur." BS. They just need to turn up the settings. Besides, they got the kind that only YOU can trigger... big mistake. Punishment has to be consistent or the behavior will not stop. They've already proven to be inconsistent when it comes to teaching him anything, except bad behavior. For example, feeding him at the table - they always feed him during dinner at the table. And they wonder why he is always jumping up, sneezing (that's what he does when he wants something) and barking! You have to feed them AFTER dinner, AWAY from the table so they don't associate the table with food for them!
Hah, no kidding. One of my big pet peeves is people not being consistent in training, teaching, or otherwise behaviorally modifying anything, be it children or pets. That's how animals - or kids (maybe I should reword that to say ESPECIALLY kids) - get completely out of control.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
